We are seeing significant performance improvement with upto 2000 TPS and 2s block times. This is an incredible achievement given that upgrading the consensus protocol of a blockchain is a massively complex undertaking, often compared to changing the engine of an airplane while flying! ConcodiumBFT is Concordium’s next-generation consensus protocol based on the Jolteon variant of the HotStuff consensus protocol. It enables the blockchain to be very fast without compromising on security and reliability.
