Concordium Wallet for Web 1.0.7 is released.
This version introduces support for the upcoming protocol version 6, featuring Concordium BFT consensus. The protocol update to version 6 is scheduled to become effective on the testnet starting August 21 and on the mainnet from September 25.
Furthermore, Concordium intends to discontinue JSON-RPC support within Concordium Wallet for Web on November 1, 2023. JSON-RPC currently allows dApps to communicate with the same node as the connected wallet, facilitating access to the JSON-RPC interface without the need for a separate server. Going forward, the wallet API will solely utilize gRPC2. Additional information on developer preparations will be provided in due course.
Please be aware that it might take some time before the new version becomes available in your Chrome extension or the Chrome Web Store.
