Concordium Wallet for Web 1.0.7 is released. This version introduces support for the upcoming protocol version 6, featuring Concordium BFT consensus. The protocol update to version 6 is scheduled to become effective on the testnet starting August 21 and on the mainnet from September 25. Furthermore, Concordium intends to discontinue JSON-RPC support within Concordium Wallet for Web on November 1, 2023. JSON-RPC currently allows dApps to communicate with the same node as the connected wallet, facilitating access to the JSON-RPC interface without the need for a separate server. Going forward, the wallet API will solely utilize gRPC2. Additional information on developer preparations will be provided in due course.
